Fruit - smoothie and juice

Man, this was a good smoothie.  Blueberries, strawberries, banana, milk, and Amazing Grass.  Yum.

This has been quite the busy long weekend for the family, in the realm of preventing things from going to waste.  We have an orange tree.  The oranges are small, but delicious and ripe.  They don't peel well.  So they aren't great for just "eating".  They are good for juice. They are also good for peeling with a knife and putting in salads.
But with tri training and the spouse traveling, I sadly walked by the tree every day and watched the oranges rot on the tree, or fall to the ground and be eaten by critters.  This weekend, my great spouse got the ladder and he and our son picked as many as they could reach.  And...what should I do?  Zest? Juice? Make marmalade? Can?  We went with juice, which is easy, then we froze it.  It was a LOT of work, for just 6 cups of juice.  Hope it tastes good.  It's now in the freezer.
